These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sky Journey mobile application ("the app", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Sky Journey, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Sky Journey is provided by an independent individual developer based in the United Arab Emirates. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sky Journey. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Sky Journey is designed for and intended to be used by cabin crew and aviation professionals, though it is not exclusive to them.
To use Sky Journey, you create an account using your email address, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for:
You may not share your account with others, create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, or impersonate any person.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Sky Journey on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you create in Sky Journey, including your flight records, layover entries, photos, notes, comments and any other information you input ("Your Content").
By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the app and providing you the service. We do not claim ownership over Your Content and we do not use it for advertising or to train third-party AI models.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that:
Sky Journey is designed around the principle that your personal entries belong to you alone. Some content is always private; other content has privacy controls you decide.

If we receive a credible complaint that notes you've stored violate these Terms or applicable law, we reserve the right to investigate and, if warranted, remove specific content or suspend your account.
When using social features (such as commenting on layovers shared by friends), you agree not to:
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.
Sky Journey offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription ("Sky Journey Pro") with additional features. Subscriptions are managed by Apple through your Apple ID.
Auto-renewable subscriptions:
Lifetime purchase: if available, the lifetime purchase grants access to Pro features for as long as the app is operational and your account is in good standing. It does not include access to fundamentally new products or services we may launch in the future as separate offerings.
Prices may change. We will notify subscribers of any price changes before they take effect; you can cancel before the change applies if you do not agree.
All subscription purchases and in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through your purchase history. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot process refunds ourselves. Apple's refund policy is available at reportaproblem.apple.com.
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account directly within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or pose a risk to other users or the service. Upon termination, your license to use the app ends, but provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (such as content responsibility, liability limitations and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
Sky Journey is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. The app is not intended to be used as an official aviation logbook for regulatory or licensing purposes. You should not rely on it for legal, regulatory, professional or safety-critical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Sky Journey, its developer or any service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the app.
Our total liability to you for all claims related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the app and on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose laws grant you the right to bring legal proceedings in your local courts, this clause does not affect that right.
Apple as third-party beneficiary: you acknowledge that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you. This clause is required by Apple's distribution terms.
