With your permission, Sky Journey accesses your device's GPS to automatically tag the city and country of a flight or layover entry. Location data is used only to populate this field and is stored as text (city/country), not as continuous tracking data. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, in which case you'll enter location manually.
With your permission, the app accesses your camera or photo library to allow you to attach photos to layover entries. We only access photos you explicitly select. We do not scan your photo library.
If you grant permission, we send push notifications related to your activity in the app, such as when a friend comments on a layover you shared, and occasionally to inform you about app updates and new features. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
For error monitoring, performance improvement, and to maintain app stability, we may collect anonymized technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash reports, and performance metrics (launch time, errors). This data does not personally identify you.

By using Sky Journey, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. You are responsible for the content of your notes about crew members. Although these notes are private and never shared, we recommend keeping them factual and respectful. We reserve the right to remove content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or violates our Terms of Service if reported to us.

Note that because these notes are private user content stored in another user's account, our ability to access or remove them is limited and subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
